A week for the books….

It seems most of April’s showers started last week. Hopefully, this means a more dryer and milder April. But don’t worry. Even if it does get a little wet out there; there will be plenty to do this week. For many Locals in VB, Monday night has been an added stepchild to the weekend days. Just because the work week starts does not mean you can’t enjoy good food and cold beer for a great price. Monday nights are dollar tacos and dollar mystery beers at Baja Cantina down at the Oceanfront. The only mystery is which beer they will have that night. I have seen PBR, Rolling Rock, Coors Original and some other beers that I thought “Man, I am going to go buy a case of this tomorrow.” But as usual too many of those beers and I can’t remember the name the next day. And all this for under 20 bucks. Get there early or be ready to wait!!

Tuesdays you can grab dollar slices from Chicos at the block and on Wednesdays Parlays is serving up $2 whiskey shots amongst other great deals. Now, are you listening? Mark you calendar for this Thursday, April 2! Peabody’s has gone back in time and is bringing back live music. They are pioneers in this music game with shows from Propaghandi, Rage Against the Machine, and Unwritten Law. Now they are featuring good, if not great, local music with their Thursdays Locals Live. And this Thursday is no different. Local Movement artist The Gentlemen will be taking the stage around 8 o clock. Doors open at 7 and $1.50 drinks run until 9 pm. And locals are in free until 11!!

Peabody’s is bringing the music back and doing it real big just for the locals. Come out and support good local music!!

If you have anything left in the tanks come Friday night, head down Shore Drive to H2O where they will be serving up $2 Bud Light pitchers from 6 to 9 that night.

Do you know of anything else going on? Let me know……
I will see you there!!
